My husband and son say this is the best pork roast I have ever made. I don't remember for sure where I got it, but it was probably a Taste of Home Recipe since I get many recipes from that site.

Ingredients

1
3 or 4 pound boneless pork loin roast
2 Tbsp
canola oil
1
14 ounce can whole berry cranberry sauce
3/4 c
sugar
3/4 c
cranberry juice
1 tsp
ground mustard
1 tsp
pepper
1/4 tsp
ground cloves
1/4 c
corn starch
1/4 c
water
salt to taste

Directions Step-By-Step

1
In a Dutch oven, brown roast in oil on all sides over medium heat. Transfer to a 5 quart slow cooker. Combine the cranberry sauce, sugar, cranberry juice, mustard, pepper and cloves. Pour over roast.
2
Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until the meat is tender. Remove roast and keep warm.
3
In a saucepan, combine cornstarch, water and salt until smooth. Stir in cooking juices. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Serve with roast.
