have used this recipe 40 years,particularly in fall or winter as a comfort food. I serve is shallow soup bowls with rolls or italian bread.

Ingredients

6 medium
onions, sliceed
3 lb
country style spare ribs
2 medium
apples(cortland or granny smith)
2 tsp
brown sugar
6 medium
potatoes, sliced in 1/3s
2 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
pepper
1 1/4 c
water
1 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce

Step-By-Step

1In dutch oven or large kettle, LAYER PORK> ONION> APPLE> BRWN SUGAR> POTATO till used .I put worc.sauce in the water then pour over.Bring to boil then reduce heat, cover and simmer 2 1/2 hours
