Cheesy Ham and Potatoes

My family loves having this on a cold day, it really warms them up. It's thick like a stew so I love to serve it with homemade dinner rolls, so they can dip them in the gravy. Oh so yummy and it is easy on the pocket book.
country style gravy mix (enough to make 2 cups)
cream of chicken soup (or mushroom)
cream of tartar
1 1/2 tsp
peeled and cubed potatoes
cooked and cubed ham (leftover works great)
cheddar cheese, shredded
1Mix the first six(6) ingredients together in a six to eight quart slow cooker until well blended.
2Stir in your cubed ham and potatoes.
3Turn your slow cooker to low and cook for 6-8 hours.
4When done turn off your slow cooker and stir in your cheddar cheese until it's all melted. Serve with rolls,toast or biscuits!
