ham, cooked and thinly sliced
1In a saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour and cook until thick.
2Gradually stir in milk and cook until bubbly and thickened.
3Stir in cheese, salt and pepper.
5Place three asparagus stalks on each ham slice.
6Roll up; secure with toothpicks if necessary.
7Place in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan; cover with cheese sauce.
9Bake at 375 for 20 minutes.
