Another great tasting pulled pork. I gave my slow cookers a work out over the weekend. Too darn hot to cook.

Enjoy!

Method:

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

1/2 c
water
1 - 5 lb
pork sirloin roast
salt
& pepper

SAUCE

1 Tbsp
olive oil
1 medium
onion, chopped
3/4 c
brown sugar, packed
1/2 c
soy sauce
1/3 c
honey
2 Tbsp
white wine vinegar
1/2 c
ketchup
1/2 tsp
garlic powder
1 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp
garlic paste
1 1/2 tsp
ginger paste
1/2 - 1 tsp
red pepper flakes
salt
if needed

Directions Step-By-Step

1
In a saucepan, saute onion until tender in oil. Stir in remaining sauce ingredients and simmer for 5 - 7 minutes. Set aside. Can do this before or after placing pork in slow cooker.
2
Rinse and pat dry pork sirloin. Place in crock pot, salt and pepper. Add 1/2 CUP water. Cook on low for 8 hours or until tender. Drain any liquid. Remove the meat and let cool.

Once cool enough to touch, using a couple forks, pull apart pork. Remove any fat or gristle. Return to pot and pour sauce over and toss to coat. Cook another hour on low.

Serve as a side or on a nice crusty bun.
