Super Silky Marinara Sauce
This recipe is the most silky and delicious marinara sauce I have tried. And super easy with only four ingredients. It's made with a stick of butter, what's not to love?

- 2 - 28 oz can(s)
- whole peeled tomatoes
- 1 stick
- unsalted butter
- 2 med
- onions, cut in half
- 1 1/2 tsp
- salt (more to taste)
1Reserve the juice from the cans of tomatoes. Chop the tomatoes and place in a food processor. Pulse. Texture should be even, but not completely smooth.
2Combine tomatoes, reserved juice, butter, onions and salt in large wide pot.
3Bring to simmer over medium heat. Reduce heat; simmer on low-med heat for 45 mins, stirring occasionally.
5Taste sauce and add additional salt as desired.
