This recipe gave off a wonderful aroma. One that let you know it's dinnertime! This is a recipe the entire family will enjoy.

Ingredients

2 c
egg noodles, uncooked
1 lb
top sirloin, cut 3/4 inch pieces
1 Tbsp
butter
2 Tbsp
finely chopped shallots
1-8 oz
pre-sliced babybella mushrooms
1 tsp
minced garlic
3 Tbsp
flour
11/2 c
fat free, low sodium beef broth
1 Tbsp
soy sauce
1/2 tsp
pepper
1/4 tsp
salt
3 sprig(s)
thyme

Directions Step-By-Step

Cook noodles according to package, omitting salt and fat, drain. Heat in a large nonstick skillet over med-high heat coat pan with cooking spray, add steak and saute 5 minutes browning on all sides, remove from pan and cover.

Melt butter in pan add shallots and mushroom and saute about 4 minutes add garlic and soy sauce and stir in flour allow to brown about 1 minute. Gradually add broth stirring constantly. Add pepper, salt, thyme sprigs. Bring to boil; cook 2 minutes or until thickened, return beef to pan cook until thoroughly, remove and discard the thyme sprigs.

Serving Size: 3/4 cup beef, 2/3 cup noodles
