SLUMGULLION

With a family of 5 and an occasional extra guest plus a tight budget, this was a dish my Mother made quite often. It can be expanded to feed a large crowd. The cheese thickens the soup and adds more delicious flavor. My family loves the dish and requests it quite often. We love to eat it in a bowl with mashed potatoes and hot buttered biscuits on the side plus a tossed salad. MHMMMM GOOD!!!! Try it and see how yummy it is!!!

1 1/2 lb
ground chuck
1 large
can stewed or diced tomatoes
1 can(s)
(14.5 oz) tomato sauce
2-4 can(s)
water (more as needed)
1/2
bell pepper, chopped
1/2 medium
onion, chopped
1-2 slice
american cheese
1 c
macaroni
1 Tbsp
salt
1 tsp
pepper
1 Tbsp
chili powder
1-2 stalk(s)
celery, chopped finely

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Brown ground chuck in large saucepan or soup pot and drain grease.
2
Add tomatoes and tomato sauce plus 2-4 cans of water. Add bell pepper, celery and onion and let boil until tender.
