Garden fresh tomatoes make this mouthwatering recipe a family favorite.

Ingredients

1 lb
lean ground beef
1 large
onion (chopped)
1 clove
garlic (minced)
2 lb
tomatoes (skinned, and cut up)
8 oz
tomato sauce
12 oz
tomato paste
1 c
beef bouillon
2 Tbsp
parsley (minced)
1 Tbsp
brown sugar
1 tsp
dried oregano leaves
1 tsp
dried basil leaves
1 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
fresh ground black pepper

Directions Step-By-Step

In a large skillet, crumble meat with onion and garlic. Cook over medium heat while breaking up pieces of meat wit a fork until it loses it's red color

Drain off excess fat

In a crockpot, combine meat mixture and other ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or until combined and cooked through.

Also excellent for pizza topping

Freezes well
