Old Fashioned Mac-N-Cheese

Instant Mac-N-Cheese becomes boring once you've tried the old fashioned version. Be careful, you may never go back to the "easy way"! ;)

Ingredients

1 (8oz) pkg
macaroni, elbow
2 1/2 c
cheddar cheese, shredded
2 large
eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/2 c
milk
1 tsp
salt
ground paprika to taste

Step-By-Step

1Cook noodles and drain.
2In lightly greased baking dish (13x9") layer 1/3 each of noodles and cheese twice. i.e. noodles, cheese, noodles, cheese.
3Top with remaining noodles. RESERVE the remaining cheese.
4In a bowl, combing eggs, milk, salt and paprika. Pour over the mac-n-cheese in the baking dish.
5Cover dish with foil and bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
6Uncover and sprinkle with remaining cheese and a pinch or two of paprika.
7Re-cover and let stand about 10 minutes.
