No Beef Stroganoff

This recipe is so quick and easy you can make it a weeknight dinner, but sophisticated enough to be served as an intimate dinner with several friends.

The sauce is so rich and delicious it's sure to please even the carnivores at your table. Dare I say it's so good they may not even know it's meatless unless you tell them?

I am the only vegetarian in my family, and they LOVED this dish. Definitely a new family favorite.

gardein beefless tips
8 oz
egg noodles, cooked to package directions
1 can(s)
campbell's mushroom gravy
1/2 pkg
dry onion soup mix
1 pkg
cremini mushrooms, sliced
1/2 small
yellow onion, diced
not beef vegan bouillon cube
1/4 c
red wine, dry
1/4 c
nature's promise vegetable broth
2 Tbsp
vegetable oil
salt and pepper to taste


1Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

2Add onion and beefless tips; sauté until tips are thawed and beginning to brown, and onions are tender.

3Add wine to deglaze the pan.

4Add mushroom gravy, onion soup mix, broth and bouillon. Stir to combine.

5Add mushrooms, salt and pepper. Cook until sauce thickens to desired consistency.

6Add egg noodles and stir to coat.

7Serve immediately. (Depending on portion size and what sides you serve this with, it will give you between 4 and 6 servings.)
