Macaroni and Beef Casserole

Ingredients

1/2 lb
ground beef
1/2 lb
bulk pork sausage
1 medium
onion
1 can(s)
tomato paste, 6 ounces
1 c
water
1/2 tsp
oregano
1/2 tsp
salt
4 c
elbow macaroni, cooked
1 c
sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Step-By-Step

1In a 10-inch skillet, brown beef, sausage and onion; drain fat.
2Add tomato paste, water, oregano and salt; simmer 5 minutes.
3In a 2 1/2 quart casserole layer half the macaroni, half the meat sauce and half the cheese.
4Repeat layers using remaining macaroni, meat sauce and cheese.
5Bake at 375 degrees 20 to 25 minutes.
