|1 1/2 tsp||garlic powder|
|1/2 tsp||black pepper|
|3 Tbsp||soy sauce, low sodium|
|2 Tbsp||italian seasoning|
|2 - 15 oz. can(s)||diced tomatoes with garlic & onions|
|2 - 15 oz. can(s)||tomato sauce, no-salt added|
|5 clove||garlic, chopped|
|2 large||onions, chopped|
|2 lb||ground beef, leanest you can get|
|1 Tbsp||seasoning salt|
|2 c||elbow macaroni, uncooked|
|shredded cheddar cheese|
In a dutch oven, saute the ground beef over medium high heat until no pink remains. Break up the meat while sauteing. Spoon off any grease.
Add onions & garlic to the pot & saute until they are tender, about 5 minutes.
Add water along with tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, bay leaves, soy sauce & all seasonings. Stir well.
Place a lid on the pot & allow to cook for 15 - 20 minutes. Add macaroni, stir well. Return the lid to the pot & simmer for 30 minutes.
Turn off the heat, remove the bay leaves & allow the mixture to sit about 30 minutes more before serving. Top off with desired toppings.
