Stove Top

Ingredients

1
squirrel, cut up
all purpose flour
salt and pepper
2 1/2 Tbsp
butter
7 c
boiling water
1 tsp
thyme
1 c
corn
3
potatoes, cubed
3 medium
onions, sliced
2 c
tomatoes, canned
1/4 tsp
cayenne pepper

Directions Step-By-Step

Dredge squirrel pieces in flour, salt, and pepper.

Brown in butter.

Add squirrel and all ingredients except the tomatoes to the boiling water.

Cover and simmer for 1 to 2 hours.

Add the tomatoes and continue to simmer for another hour.
