My father told me that this is a recipe he came up with as a kid during the 40's. It is quick and cheap. Don't let the name gross you out. My hubby refused to even try this when I first made it, because of the name. But now, after 19 years of marriage, he asks for it on a regular basis.

Ingredients

1/2 c
butter or oleo
1/2 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
each, salt and pepper
1
large onion, chopped
1 lb
hot dogs (we like natural casing), cut into coins
4-5
potatos, cut into chunks, cooked
3-4 c
milk

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Boil the potatos until tender, drain and set aside
2
boil the hot dogs until hot, drain and set aside
3
In large frying pan or Dutch Oven, melt the oleo and add the chopped onion. Fry until the onion is translucent (can kinda see thru it). Add the flour, salt, pepper and stir until SLIGHTLY browned. Pour in 3 cups of the milk and keep stirring with a whisk until smooth (adjust the amount of milk to make as thick or as thin as you prefer) Stir in the potatos and hot dogs and serve.
