this is one of those recipes- from years ago- that my family enjoyed from toddler to adulthood-and now request often.

Ingredients

1 lb
ground beef
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1 can(s)
cream of chicken soup
1
med.onion, chopped
1 c
diced celery
1/2 c
raw rice
2 c
water
1/4 c
soy sauce
dash(es)
of pepper
chow mein noodles

Step-By-Step

1Saute onion and ground beef til meat no longer pink.Drain
2Add soups, celery, rice, water, soy sauce and pepper.stir together
3Pour into greased, deep casserole dish and cover.Bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours.Remove from oven
4Stir, then serve over Chow mein noodles (or it can be served over steamed rice for those not caring for chow mein noodles)
