This is delicious pizza and my family just loves it! I usually divide the dough in half to make two 12" virgin crust pizza's.

Ingredients

PIZZA SAUCE:

1 can(s)
(8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 can(s)
(6 oz.) tomato paste
1 to 1 1/2 tsp
oregano, dried
1 tsp
parsley flakes
1/2 to 3/4 tsp
basil, dried
1/2 tsp
salt
1/8 tsp
garlic powder
1/8 tsp
crushed red pepper

PIZZA CRUST:

1 pkg
quick-rise yeast
1/2 c
warm water (110*-115*f)
3 1/2 c
all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp
salt
3/4 c
water
3 Tbsp
oil

TOPPINGS:

1 lb
pork sausage (lightly brown)
1 c
sliced mushrooms
1/3 c
diced green peppers
1/4 c
chopped onion
1 pkg
(8 oz.) mozzarella cheese

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Combine tomato sauce and paste with seasonings; simmer 10 to 15 minutes. In large skillet, lightly brown sausage; drain. Prepare other ingredients and set aside.
2
Dissolve yeast and 1/4 teaspoon sugar in warm water. Set aside for 5 minutes. In food processor container with dough blade, add flour and salt. Heat water and oil to 110*-115*F. Pour yeast mixture over flour in container. Process while pouring water and oil through feed tube. Once a dough ball forms, process for 60 seconds until dough cleans the sides of the container. Remove dough and cover with plastic wrap and a towel. Let rest 15 minutes.

On lightly floured surface, roll dough to a 16" circle. Place in oiled 14" round deep dish pizza pan, pushing dough halfway up sides of pan. Cover; let rise in warm place until puffy, about 15 minutes. Spread pizza sauce over dough. Sprinkle sausage over sauce; then arrange mushrooms, green pepper and onion over sausage. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake at 425* for 20 to 25 minutes until edge is crisp and golden brown and cheese is melted.

Tip: This recipe has been developed for a 14" round deep dish pizza pan. The pizza could also be baked in a 13x9x2" cake pan. Roll dough to a 15x11" rectangle. Baking time may be slightly less.

I personally like to divide the dough in half and pat out 2) 12" round pizza's and add 1 or 2 other kinds of cheese. Experiment and have fun. :)
