- link (1 pound) polish sausage or kielbasa
- 1/2 can(s)
- lemon lime soda or ginger ale
- 1/3 c
- worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp
- lemon juice
- 1/2 c
- brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 dash(es)
- hot sauce
1Cut the sausage into 1 inch chunks. In a large skillet, heat the soda until boiling. Boil the sausage in the soda until it reduces and becomes a light brown, thick glaze on the meat - about 10 minutes.
2Meanwhile, in a small crockpot, mix together worcertershire sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar and hot sauce.
3When the meat has browned slightly and is coated with the soda glaze, transfer to crockpot. Cook on high for 2 hours, or low for 4 hours.
