I am sharing my chili mix with my "FAMILY".

I worked on many pots of chili before I came up with this recipe.

You can double, triple---etc. This batch will make about 1-1/2 cups.

For a one pound of meat, you will need 2 tbsp. more if you want more chili and spicy flavor, less if you don't.

Ingredients

1 c
chili powder
2 Tbsp
oregano, dried
2 Tbsp
cumin
2 Tbsp
dried minced garlic
2 Tbsp
dried onion flakes
2 tsp
sea salt or salt (i used sea salt)
1 tsp
coarse black pepper
1 tsp
paprika
1 tsp
sugar
2 tsp
cayenne pepper
1 Tbsp
red pepper flakes

Step-By-Step

1Clean and thoroughly dry a glass or plastic container with an air-tight lid for storing the chili seasoning mix. Make sure the container is completely dry before mixing your chili mix because moisture will cause the mix to mold.

2Mix together all ingredients, using a fork to break up lumps and ensure all spices and seasonings are well blended. Put in container, and store in a pantry or a dark place.
