Ingredients

1 lb
velveeta cheese
3
jalapeno peppers, chopped
1 1/2 pt
sour cream
1 can(s)
rotel tomatoes (10 oz.)
1 can(s)
tomatoes, diced (small can; 14.5 oz)
1 1/2 lb
ground chuck
1 medium
onion, chopped
1 pkg
taco seasoning mix
1 pkg
tortilla chips, plain

Step-By-Step

1Brown ground chuck with onion in skillet; drain fat, return to skillet and add taco seasoning. Set aside.

2Melt cheese, sour cream, peppers and tomatoes in a saucepan over low heat until cheese is completely melted.

3Crush the chips. Combine the meat and cheese mixture. Layer meat/cheese mixture in 13"x9" baking dish; top with chips; repeat layers until all mixture has been used, ending with chips on top.

4Bake at 350 degrees until the top and sides are bubbly and slightly browned; approximately 30 minutes.
