Ingredients

1 lb
ground beef
1/2 c
dry italian bread crumbs
1 large
egg
1 medium
onion chopped
1 tsp
each salt, oregano, and basil
1/2 c
each chopped red bell pepper and fresh mushrooms
1/2 c
each shredded mozzarella cheese and cheddar cheese
15 oz
can tomato sauce
8 oz
can crescent rolls

Step-By-Step

1In large bowl combine beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, salt, oregano, and basil. Stir in half the tomato sauce

2Place the crescent rolls between to pieces of wax paper and roll out until half as thick as it was.

3Place the meat mixture down the center of the dough. Top with red bell pepper and mushrooms. Top with cheeses and pour the remaining tomato sauce over top.

4Wrap the crescent dough around the mixture and seal. Place seam side down on baking sheet. Cover with foil. Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes.
