Ingredients For string cheese meatloaf

  • 1 c
    meatless spaghetti sauce, divided
  • 1 lg
    egg, beaten slightly
  • 1 c
    seasoned bread crumbs
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1-1/2 tsp
    dried rosemary, crushed
  • 1 lb
    ground chuck
  • 8 oz
    bulk italian sausage
  • 3 slice
    string cheese, any flavor

How To Make string cheese meatloaf

    In a large bowl, combine 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce, egg, bread crumbs, garlic and rosemary. Crumble the meat over mixture and mix well.

    Press half this mixture into a greased 8x4-inch loaf pan. Place two pieces of cheese, side by side, near one end of the loaf.

    Cut the remaining piece of cheese in half; place side by side on opposite end of the loaf. Top with remaining meat mixture. Press down firmly to seal.

    Bake, uncovered, in a preheated 350º oven for 1-1/4 - 1-1/2 hours; drain. Drizzle with the remaining spaghetti sauce; bake 10 minutes more. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.
