Ingredients

1 large
rabbit, cut into parts
1 can(s)
( 15 oz) tomato sauce
1 medium
onion, chopped
4 slice
bacon , chopped or 1/4 cup bacon drippings
4 medium
carrots, sliced
1 small
can peas
1 c
red or white wine
1 c
flour, seasoned
oil for frying
2 clove
garlic, diced
parsley
1
chicken cube
bay leaves

Directions Step-By-Step

Marinate rabbit parts in wine.
Leave for 1 hour.

Roll rabbit in seasoned flour and fry in hot oil, until browned on all sides.
Remove from pan.

In same pan fry onions, garlic and carrots.
Add wine and evaporate.
Add tomato sauce.

Return rabbit parts to pan and simmer till tender, about 1 1/2 hours.
Add liver, heart and peas 15 minutes before end of cooking.
Keep warm until served.
