In the picture we used country style beef ribs. This sauce goes particularly well with beef, but great on pork as well! I think it would be good on most any red meat or pork.

Ingredients

2
slabs back ribs
2 tsp
garlic powder
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
1 Tbsp
prepared mustard (i like to use honey mustard)
1/2 c
minced onion
2 Tbsp
butter, melted
1/2 c
firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c
lemon juice
1/4 c
steak sauce
2 Tbsp
vinegar
2 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp
chili powder

Step-By-Step

1Cut ribs into serving size pieces.
2Add ribs to Dutch oven and cover with water.
3Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 1/2 hour. Drain well. (Instead I wrap them tightly in foil and slow roast them in a 320 degree oven for 2-3 hours.)
4Sprinkle ribs with garlic powder, salt and pepper, then baste with mustard.
5Saute minced onion in a sauce pan. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 5 minutes.
6Grill ribs 5 inches from heat for 30 minutes.
7Brush ribs with sauce in the last 5-10 minutes of cooking.
