Ingredients

  • 2 pounds catfish fillets
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoons cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • SAUCE
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

How To Make bb king's catfish nuggets & sauce

  • Step 1
    Cut the catfish fillets into finger or nuggets. Mix together the buttermilk, paprika, cayenne, onion, and garlic powder. Mix together the flour and yellow cornmeal.
  • Step 2
    Dip the catfish into the buttermilk mixture and then dredge in the flour/cornmeal mixture. Deep fry until golden.
  • Step 3
    Mix all Sauce ingredients (ranch dressing through lime juice) together and refrigerate. This sauce doubles very easy. Serve Sauce with Catfish.
