Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

COOK TIME IS 31/2 - 4 HOURS ON LOW SETTING 0R 2 - 2 1/2 HOURS ON HIGH

4 - 5
boneless, skinless chicken breasts
salt
& pepper - for seasoning chicken
3/4 c
honey
1/4 c
dark corn syrup
1/2 c
soy sauce
2 Tbsp
vegetable oil
1/4 c
ketchup
4 clove
garlic, minced
1/2 large
onion, chopped
1/2 - 1 tsp
red pepper flakes - optional - we like the flavor
4 Tbsp
corn starch
6 - 7 Tbsp
water
sesame seeds - toasted or not
hot
noodles or rice

Step-By-Step

1Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
2Place the chicken in the crock pot.
3Mix the soy, honey, ketchup, onion, garlic, vegetable oil and karo in a bowl till thoroughly combined.
4Pour over the chicken in the crock pot. If using pepper flakes, sprinkle on top.
5Cook for 3 1/2 - 4 hours on low, or 2 - 2 1/2 on high.
6When chicken is cooked through; remove from pot. When cool enough, cut into bite sized pieces.
7In a bowl; mix the cornstarch in 6 tablespoons of water and pour into crock pot. Stir to combine with the honey sauce. Replace the lid and cook on high setting until thickened...about 10 minutes.

Return cut up chicken to sauce, and stir to coat and warm through.
8When serving, sprinkle with sesame seeds. ( which I forgot...Lol )

Enjoy! Delicious over noodles or rice.
