Chicken With Parmesan Cheese Sauce

Love this cheese sauce. Really perks up the flavor of chicken thighs.

Ingredients

4
chicken thighs
1
lemon zested
2 Tbsp
butter melted
1/4 c
dry white wine
2 Tbsp
flour more or less to make a thick roux
1/2 c
chicken stock
1/2 c
heavy cream
1/2 c
grated parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste

Step-By-Step

1Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Season chicken with salt and pepper.
2Mix lemon zest and butter together and place in bottom of baking pan. Add chicken and bake 35 to 45 minutes until chicken is done. Remove chicken and keep warm.
3Pour chicken drippings into sauce pan. Add wine and let most evaporate. Add flour enough to make a thick roux. slowly add in chicken stock and heavy cream. Let cook until thickened. Add parmesan cheese and season to taste. Serve over chicken
