Beer & Barbecue Chicken ( crockpot)

Method:

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

3 lb
chicken breast skinless and boneless
3/4 c
chopped onions small dice
3/4 c
sweet red peppers chopped
11/2 tsp
smoked paprika
1 Tbsp
minced garlic
1 tsp
kosher salt
12 oz
beer ( heinken i prefer)
4 c
extra thick barbecue sauce

Directions Step-By-Step

Place peppers and onions into crockpot

Place chicken on top

Mix the beer and barbecue sauce with salt and smoked paprika
And garlic

Cook on Low for about four hours then remove chicken and shredd with two forks
Return and cook about four more hours in sauce

OR on high about 4 hours

Remove lid and allow about 20- 30
Minutes heat off to thicken

Serve on toasted buns with cole slaw
OR
Great on nachos with melted shredded cheese
( I add some drained diced jalapeƱos too!)
