Once cooked this lasagna freezes well. Everyone I have made this for loves it.

Ingredients

10 c
my bechamel sauce
15 c
my italian red sauce
2 box
lasagna sheets
2 c
parmigiano-reggiano, grated
freshly grated nutmeg
black pepper, freshly ground

Step-By-Step

1Heat oven to 350F. In a large lasagna dish layer 5 cups red sauce, 2 1/4 cups bechamel sauce & lasagna sheets, repeat twice.

2On top layer of the lasagna, layer 3 1/4 cups of bechamel sauce, 2 cups of parmigiano-reggiano and sprinkle with the nutmeg and black pepper.

3Cook for about 1 hour or until a butter knife slides thru the lasagna sheets easily. Remove from oven and let stand for about 20 minutes before serving.
