I grew up eating these delicious burgers. Mom would light up the grill and we knew it would soon be burger heaven. Although, she would broil these juicy burgers when weather didn't permit the use of the grill. I broiled these tonight, as it was raining...they are scrumptious either way.

I hope you try them sometime, you will love them too! Pictures don't do these justice, hard to see how juicy they are.

Enjoy!

4 - 5 tsp

onion rolls or your favorite
favorite
condiments- i used tomato, sweet onion, dill slices, ketchup, mustard & mayonnaise

Directions Step-By-Step

1
In a bowl, add cheese, mustard, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and bacon.
2
Crumble the ground chuck over the ingredients in the bowl, and toss with a for to combine evenly.
3
Make 4 patties or however many you want. I make 4 large, will depend how big you make as to how long they will need to grill or broil.
4
I had to broil mine this evening as it was raining - I placed the 4 patties on my broiler pan, and placed the oven rack 2 notches below flame. I broiled for 6 minutes on the one side.
5
And about 6 on the other side. How I test if are done is lightly press on the top of burger, if it seems firm I take them off and plate.

Same for grill, about 6 minutes per side. Do not press on the burgers, they are very juicy and that's what makes them oh so good!
6
I butter both sides of bun and place then in my iron skillet to toast.
