- 4 pounds corned beef brisket
1Place brisket fat side up in a baking pan. Sprinkle a packet of Lipton onion soup mix on top. Place a quarter inch of water in the bottom of the pan. Cover tightly with foil and place in oven at 270 degrees for 12 hours.
2Cool 20 minutes and slice across the grain carefully.
