Brown the ground beef. sausage and onion until cooked. Drain off the fat.
Add all tomato products, basil, oregano, garlic, crushed red pepper. Add Salt and pepper to taste. simmer for 1/12 to 2 hours until the flavors incorporate.
Combine ricotto, 1/2 of the mozzarella and parmesan, set aside in the refrigerator.
Put thin layer of sauce in the bottom of a lasagna pan. Put a layer of noodles over the sauce. Put another layer of sauce over the noodles. Spread some of the ricotta mixture over the sauce and repeat until the top layer is sauce. Bake for one hour at 350 or until the noodles are cooked. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and bake until melted. Remove from the oven and let the pan sit at room temperature for 15 mins, then serve.
