Ingredients

1 lb
ground chuck
1 lb
bulk italian sausage
1
egg
3/4 c
italian bread crumbs
1 tsp
oregano
1/8 tsp
pepper
1 can(s)
mushrooms,drained
1/2 c
chopped onion
2 can(s)
tomato sauce(8 oz cans)
1 tsp
salt
2 c
shredded mozzarella cheese

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350
2Combine ground chuck,Italian sausage,egg,bread crumbs,onions,1/3 cup of tomato sauce,salt,oregano,mushrooms,and pepper.
3Mix well and shape into a flat rectangle about 10 x 12 on waxed paper.
4Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over meat mixture.
Roll up like a jelly roll and press ends to seal.
5Place in loaf pan.
Bake at 350 for 1 hr.
Pour on remaining tomato sauce and bake an additional 15 minutes.
Add more mozzarella cheese, if desired during the last 15 minutes of baking.
