Very mild. Good with or without beans. When making it stretch to feed a large family I always include the beans.

Ingredients

3 lb
ground beef
2 medium
onions, chopped
1 tsp
dried minced garlic
2 can(s)
8 ozs, each, tomato sauce
2 can(s)
16 ozs each, petite diced tomatoes
2 can(s)
16 ozs each, pinto beans
1 can(s)
10 3/4 ozs tomato puree
2 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
black pepper
6 Tbsp
chili powder
3 tsp
ground cumin

Step-By-Step

1Brown meat and onion in skillet.

2Place meat and chopped onion in large pot.

3Add remaining ingredients

4Simmer for an hour, or can simmer all day. The longer the better but will need to check if water should be added periodically.
