Ingredients
- ROASTED GARLIC:
- 2 bulbs garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, extra-virgin
- GARLIC BUTTER:
- 2 sticks butter, unsalted, room temperature
- 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 1/2 teaspoons parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- TOMATO BASIL SALSA:
- 1/4 cup olive oil, extra-virgin
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 medium roma tomatoes, diced
- 3 tablespoons basil, fresh, cut into strips
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- BREAD:
- 1 loaf sourdough bread, cut in 1/2 lengthwise
- 4 ounces sun dried tomatoes, oil packed, chopped
- 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
How To Make ultimate garlic bread

Step 1ROASTED GARLIC: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Slice off tops of garlic bulbs & drizzle each with 1 tbsp olive oil. Wrap in foil & bake for 1 hour. When done, unwrap foil & cool completely. Once cooled, squeeze cloves from skin. Set aside.

Step 2Meanwhile, prepare garlic butter...in a medium bowl, combine butter, parmesan, minced garlic, italian seasoning, parsley & red pepper flakes; mix well. Refrigerate.

Step 3TOMATO BASIL SALSA: In a medium saute pan over medium heat, combine oil & garlic. Cook until lightly browned, 2 minutes. Add tomatoes & heat through. Stir in basil, salt & pepper & remove from heat.

Step 4Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 5Combine roasted garlic, tomato basil salsa, sun dried tomatoes & parmesan cheese; mix well to combine. Set aside.

Step 6Spread garlic butter over bread. Bake 20 minutes or until browned.

Step 7Top bread with garlic/tomato mixture. Spread evenly with mozzarella cheese & bake 2 more minutes or until cheese is melted. Slice into pieces & serve.
