uncooked rotini pasta
1 lb
ground italian sausage
1 jar(s)
pasta sauce
1-16 oz.
container cottage cheese
1-small can(s)
sliced black olives, drained (optional)
1-4 oz. can(s)
mushrooms, drained
1-12 oz bag(s)
shredded mozzarella cheese
3-oz. pkg
sliced pepperoni

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9X13 casserole dish.

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Place pasta in the pot, cook for 8 to 10 minutes, until al dente, and drain.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until evenly brown, drain grease. Mix in the cooked pasta and pasta sauce. Pour into prepared casserole dish.

I have made this recipe 6-7 times now. First time I made it my husband, the fickle Greek, looked at me and said, "honey this is wonderful!"

I had it saved in an old phone but lost it when one of my teenagers removed my SD card to save their favorite tunes! :-( I'm so happy I found the original recipe! I gotta print stuff out and laminate them!

My entire family loves this recipe. We use large pepperoni slices from boars head, because sodium nitrate freaks me out! Lol...

Thank you for sharing this with the world! There is never a drop left over!

Great recipe! I made half the recipe for 2 of us and it would have served 4 to 5. I used 6 ounces of bow tie pasta and 4 would have been plenty. Only tweak but might want to try it with ricotta to see if there is any difference.
