1 pkg naan garlic
1/2 fennel root, sliced
1 small red onion, cliced
2 garlic cloves, grated
zest of 1 lime
1/2 stick of butter
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, divided
4 tbsp pesto
4 tbsp spicy marinara sauce
4 oz whole milk mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 lb cooked shrimp**i used marinated & grilled**
1/2 fire roasted red pepper sliced
5 basil leaves, torn
10-12 black olives, sliced
fennel frawn for garnish
11. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
2In a heated skillet add butter and 2 Tbsp olive oil, add fennel, onion, zest & garlic. Caramelize until golden brown. This will take about 20 minutes
3Combine pesto, marinara and remaining olive in a mixing bowl.
4Spread sauce on bread, add cheese, shrimp ,onions/fennel, red peppers, oilves, basil and little more cheese on top.
5Place pizza on oven proof pan or stone. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cheese has melted.
6Garnish with fennel frawns and drizzle with olive oil.
