This dish, while yes extremely fattening is extremely delicious! It's been a family favorite for years! It's also very good with pork, when you bake it, the chicken/pork becomes fork tender and gets a delicious buttery flavor, I highly reccomend!

**I like to serve this with fettucine or bowties and veggies**

2 1/2 c
italian style bread crumbs
1/2 c
grated parmesan (can be freshly grated or not, either is fine!)
1 1/2 stick
butter (please, please, please only use real butter!)
1 Tbsp
chopped italian parsley (optional)
chicken breasts

Directions Step-By-Step

Melt Butter
Mix together, bread crumbs, cheese, and parsley **if used**
Season chicken with salt and pepper to taste, then dip each peice of chicken in butter and coat in the bread crumbs, then put into a 9x13 baking pan.
Once all the chicken is in the pan pour the remaining butter over it, if you don't have much left, melt a bit more **trust me, it's worth it** then bake, for about 1 hr- 1 hr 15 minutes at 350.
