Who says you have to stick with bread for making french toast? You have many options...bagel, waffle, croissants, donut, etc. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Ingredients

  • 3 bagel, plain, sliced in 1/2
  • 4 x large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
  • GARNISH:
  • confectioners' sugar
  • maple syrup

How To Make bagel french toast

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, add eggs, cream, butter, extract, sugar & cinnamon; whisk until combined.
  • Step 2
    Take bagel halves & dunk just as you would regular french toast & fry in skillet until golden brown. Top off with dusting of confectioners' sugar & maple syrup!
  • Step 3
    VARIATIONS: Cinnamon Raisin Bagels Waffles Croissants Donuts (Krispy Kreme are perfect!)
