Ingredients For shrimp skillet

  • 1 lg
    onion, vidalia, peeled & chopped
  • 1/4 c
    red bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    ham, cubed
  • 6 oz can
    tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 3/4 c
    instant rice, uncooked
  • 1/4 lb
    large shrimp, peeled, deveined & tails off

How To Make shrimp skillet

  • 1
    In a skillet, saute onion, bell pepper & garlic in butter until tender. Stir in water, ham, tomato sauce, vinegar & pepper. Bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat; cover & simmer for 3 minutes. Add rice; cover & cook for 5 minutes. Add shrimp; cook 3 - 5 minutes longer or until shrimp turn pink & rice is cooked.
