3/4 cbeer

1 cself rising cornmeal

2 1/2 cself rising flour

3/4 cbuttermilk

4 lgshrimp, peeled, deveined, tails off, cooked, minced

1 lgonion, diced

1/2 ccheddar cheese, shredded

1 tspsalt

1/2 tsppepper
-
1 tspbaking powder
-
1/4 csugar

vegetable oil
- SERVE WITH:

sour cream

ranch dressing
How To Make shrimp hush puppies

1Mix all ingredients (except oil) together; mix well. Chill for 1 hour.

2Heat oil in deep fryer to 350 degrees F.

3Drop by tsp into hot oil (a few at a time, not to crowd) until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

4Serve with sour cream or ranch dressing with fried fish! Mmmmmmm!
