Ingredients For baked fillet-o-fishy wishy sandwich

1 lbcod fillets or other firm white fish

1/3 cself rising flour

1/4 tspsalt
-
1/8 tspblack pepper
-
1/8 tspcayenne pepper
-
1 lgegg
-
4sesame seeded hamburger buns

buttermilk ranch dressing
How To Make baked fillet-o-fishy wishy sandwich

1Cut the fish into 4 square-ish pieces.

2Beat the egg in a shallow bowl. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, salt, pepper & cayenne pepper. Dip each piece of fish into the egg & then dredge the pieces in the flour mixture.

3Place the flour coated fish pieces on a greased baking sheet. Bake the fish at 375 degrees for 5 minutes. Flip the pieces & continue baking them for 5 minutes, or until the fish flakes & is done.

4Wrap the hamburger buns in foil & steam over a pot of boiling water for 10 - 15 minutes.

5To assemble the sandwiches, spoon a generous amount of homemade ranch dressing on the top & bottom bun. Place the fish in the sandwich & enjoy. Serve the sandwich with homemade french fries.
