Mom had this in her recipe file. We don't have an Aunt Kay nor do Dad or I know who Ron or Kevin Muckway is. So you got me where she got this from. ????

Ingredients For aunt kay's tuna-noodle casserole

  • 6 oz
    medium noodles
  • 6 1/2 oz
    albacore tuna, drained
  • 1/2 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 c
    celery, diced
  • 1/3 c
    onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    green pepper, diced
  • 1/4 c
    pimientos, chopped
  • 1 can
    cream of celery soup
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 4 oz
    old english sharp process cheese slices, diced
  • 1/2 c
    slivered almonds
  • 1 sm. can
    sliced black olives

How To Make aunt kay's tuna-noodle casserole

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

    Cook noodles in boiling salted water until tender; drain.

    Combine noodles & next 6 ingredients; set aside.

    In saucepan, blend soup & milk; heat through. Add cheese; heat & stir until cheese melts. Add to noodle mixture.

    Turn into 9 x 13" baking dish. Top with almonds. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes. Garnish with sliced olives.
