Ingredients

chicken thighs deboned
2 Tbsp
oil
4 clove
garlic minced
1
jalapeno seeded and diced

CARAMEL SAUCE

2 Tbsp
fish sauce
6 Tbsp
water
1 Tbsp
sugar
2 Tbsp
rice vinegar

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix all ingredients for caramel sauce in a bowl and set aside.

Add oil to a cast iron skillet or any skillet. Place on medium to high heat until starts to smoke. Place chicken skin side down and cook until crispy. Turn chicken and cook until crispy on back. Add the garlic and continue to cook about 1 minute. Pour the caramel sauce over the chicken. Lower the heat and simmer until the sauce reduces and becomes amber in color.

Add the jalapenos and cook another minute. Serve immediately.
