TASTY SPLENDA TERIYAKI CHICKEN

My grandaughter love teriyaki chicken with fried rice. She orders it everytime we go somewhere so maybe if I cook it at home she will order something else. Found this in the splenda cookbook

Ingredients

1 Tbsp
cornstarch
1 Tbsp
cold water
1/2 c
splenda
1/2 c
soy sauce
1/4 c
apple cider vinegar
1 clove
garlic minced
1/2 tsp
ground ginger
1/4 tsp
black pepper

boneless chicken breast

Step-By-Step

1In a small saucepan over low heat, combine cornstarch cold water, splenda,soy sauce,vinegar,garlic,ginger and pepper. Simmer stirring frequently until sauce thickens and bubbles.
2preheat oven to 425 degrees
Place chicken breasts in a lightly greased 9by13 inch baking dish. Brush chicken with the sauce. Turn pieces over and brush again.
3Bake in the oven for 15 minutes turn pieces and bake another 15 minutes until no longer pink. (WHILE BAKING YOU WILL BRUSH WITH SAUCE EVERY 5 MINUTES). (COOKING TIMES MAY BE DIFFERENT DOING TO THE SIZE OF THE BREAST)
