Tasty Onion Chicken

This is my husband's favorite chicken dish and it's so easy to fix! I usually serve it with a salad and chicken stuffing or mashed potatoes. I sometimes use chicken tenders instead of the breasts.

This is a tremendously simple and satisfying dish to make. The mustard/butter combo adds flavor while also helping to seal in moisture. (The french friend onions also add an irresistible "crunch" with every bite!)

Ingredients

1/2 c
butter, melted
1 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
1 tsp
mustard, ground
2.8 oz
can french fried onions, crushed

chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless

Directions Step-By-Step

In a shallow bowl, combine butter, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Place onions in another shallow bowl.

Dip chicken in butter mixture, then coat with onions. Place in a greased 11-in x 7-in x 2-in. baking dish; drizzle with remaining butter mixture.

Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 20-25 minutes or until chicken juices run clear.
