Shredded Barbecue Chicken Sandwiches

- (16 oz each) pace chunky salsa
- 1 Tbsp
- cider vinegar
- 1/4 c
- brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 tsp
- garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp
- chili powder
- chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless
- 1 pkg
- (13 oz) pepperidge farm classic sandwich buns with sesame seeds
- cheddar cheese, shredded
1heat the salsa, vinegar, brown sugar, garlic powder and chili powder in a 3 quart saucepan over medium high heat to a boil.
2add the chicken to the saucepan. reduce the heat to low. cover and cook for 20 minutes or until the chicken is fork tender.
3serve the chicken mixture on the buns. sprinkle with the cheese.
