I love sesame chicken. I don't even need the rice.

Deep Fry

Ingredients

2 Tbsp
soy sauce
1 Tbsp
dry sherry
1/4 tsp
sesame oil
2 Tbsp
each flour, cornstarch and water
2
boneless skinless chicken breast cut into 1 inch cubes
oil for deep frying

SAUCE

1 1/2 c
chicken stock
2 Tbsp
chinese black vinegar or white vinegar if you cant get a hold of chinese black vinegar
1 c
brown sugar
1/4 c
cornstarch
2 Tbsp
soy sauce
2 tsp
sesame oil
2 tsp
garlic chili paste
2 Tbsp
toasted sesame seeds (optional)
1/4 c
fresh cilantro chopped (optional)

Directions Step-By-Step

Combine the 2 tbsp soy sauce, dry sherry, 1/4 tsp sesame oil, flour, cornstarch and water together. Mix well stir in chicken cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes.

Heat deep fryer to 375 degrees.

Meanwhile combine all ingredients for sauce together in a med saucepan. bring to a boil stirring constantly reduce to a simmer and simmer on low until thickened and warm though. Keep warm

Cook the chicken in batches in deep fryer. Drain on paper towels. Pour sauce over top sprinkle with sesame seeds if using them or cilantro. Serve over rice.
