Mmmmmmmmm! Chase those winter blues away & keep warm with this soup!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds bulk pork sausage, no casings
  • 6 cups water
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cans cheddar cheese soup
  • 6 medium red potatoes, cubed
  • 4 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 2 - 8 oz packages baby portabella mushrooms, sliced
  • 5 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cans evaporated milk

How To Make sausage & more soup

  • Step 1
    In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Transfer to a crock pot.
  • Step 2
    Stir in the water & soups until blended. Add the vegetables, bouillon, parsley & pepper.
  • Step 3
    Cover & cook on LOW 9 - 10 hours or until vegetables are tender. Stir in milk; cover & cook 30 minutes longer.
  • Step 4
    NOTE: The "& more" of this recipe is you can change it up to however you like it. You can also add carrots, celery, zucchini, tomatoes, green pepper or whatever else you can think of.
