My Crockpot Hawaiian Chicken

Couldn't find a recipe that appealed to me so I came up with this. Smells heavenly and I cant keep my husband out of the crockpot ha! I'm always looking for recipes to make my life easier.
This would be great over rice or on a salad but today it's going to be an appetizer. Be creative! Enjoy:)

Method:

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

1- 3lb pkg
thawed chicken breasts cut into strips
1 small can(s)
crushed pineapple w juice
1/2 tsp
ground ginger
1/2 tsp
ground nutmeg
1 heaping Tbsp
minced onion
1 heaping Tbsp
minced green pepper
1 c
soy sauce
1/2 c
packed brown sugar

Directions Step-By-Step

Place chicken in crockpot.

Mix undrained pineapple, brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, nutmeg, onion & green pepper together.

Pour pineapple mixture over chicken.

Cook on low 6-8 hrs or high 4 hrs until chicken turns white and tender with no pink showing.
